NOTICE OF VACANCY FOR OFFICE OF COMMISSIONER OF SUBDISTRICT 1
HAUSER LAKE FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT [I.C. § 31-1409]
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Hauser Lake Fire Protection District, in Kootenai County, Idaho, has declared the office of Commissioner of Subdistrict Number 1 vacant.
Meeting to Fill Vacancy: The Board of Commissioners will meet at the Hauser Lake Fire Station, 10728 N Hauser Lake Road, Hauser, Idaho 83854, at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, the 26th of July, 2023, at which time the Commissioners will consider all Written Requests for Appointment to the position of the office of Commissioner of Subdistrict 1. The Board will then appoint a qualified individual to fill the vacancy.
Term of Office: The term of the appointed commissioner for Subdistrict 1 will expire at midnight on December 31, 2023.
Qualifications: Residents of Hauser Lake Fire Protection District who are interested in being appointed to the position of Commissioner are asked to submit a Written Request for Appointment to the District Secretary no later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, July 24, 2023. The Written Request for Appointment can be obtained from hauserfire.org [click here to download] or from the District Secretary. In order to serve in this position, a person must be a qualified elector of Subdistrict 1 and have been a resident within the Fire District for a period of at least one (1) year. Please see the District map at hauserfire.org to confirm. Persons filing a Written Request for Appointment and all other persons are invited to attend said meeting.
